Day to Night Glam

Happy Monday ladies!

For those of you who follow me on snapchat (username: aoifegarrihy) , you'll know I spent the weekend in Killarney. Lots of you wanted to know what make up I was using, and more importantly, what lashes I wore. So here is the low down!

Day Time:

* So for the day time part, I wanted to keep my make simple & natural. I started by spraying MAC Prep & Prime all over my face

* I then applied Georgio Armani lumious silk (shade 6.5, to match my tan) as my foundation (avoiding the under eye area)

* I went in with my Rimmel Wake me Up concealer (shade ivory) underneath my eyes, and blended upwards with my finger. I then set this with Laura Mercier transulent powder

* I then set my foundation with Fuschia's loose mineral powder (shade cream)

* I applied some Charlotte Tilbury blusher (ecstasy)

* I then used my Sculpted palette (Make Up by Aimee) to highlight my cheekbones, nose and & cupids bow. I also used the bronzer in this palette to give me cheekbones!

* I filled in my brows with Soap & Glory's Brow Archery pen

* To open my eyes I used Charlotte Tilbury's famous eye cheat pencil, on my bottom waterline for eyeliner

* I applied some Soap & Glory Mascara, followed by Rimmel's Kate Moss lipstick (shade Rock n Roll nude). Viola!

Night Time:

* So I removed all my day time make up to start fresh for our night out. I started again by spraying MAC Prep & Prime all over my face

* I began filling in my brows first, except I wanted them a little darker & more dramatic than earlier on. I used Fuschia's Boom Brow (shade brunette) for this

* I then placed that same Rimmel concealer as before, underneath my brows to sharpen them, and applied all over my eyelid. I set this with my Laura Mercier powder as before

* I used my highlight from the Sculpted palette again for underneath my brow bone

* I went in with the Sculpted bronzer as my main eyeshadow colour, followed by Make Up Geek eyeshadows (cocoa bear, americano, corrupt). I then added a dab of Fuschia's Glitz Fix to my eyelid, and applied some Inglot pigment with my finger to the same area. I darkened underneath my eyes the same way as on top, and added my Soap & Glory eyeliner pencil to my waterline

* I then applied my FAVOURITE new brand of lashes (you can buy these from us in the salon), called 'Boom Booms' from the amazing brand 'Dollface Vanity'. I came across this brand only over a week ago, and knew they were meant for me! They are so whispy & fluffy, and very easy to apply! They can be worn up to 23 times when looked after properly, and retail @ €12.00.

* I then mixed Charlotte Tilbury wonderglow with Dermalogica Skin Perfect primer

* I mixed Georgio Armani (shade 6.5) with Bourjois City Radiance balm (shade ivory) and MAC Studio Fix (shade NC25). The reason I ended up mixing so many, was because I wanted a fuller coverage, and the shade wasn't right for my tan. Normally I wouldn't mix 3 foundations!

* I then applied my Rimmel Match Perfection (shade 30) underneath my eye area (switched concealers again to get fuller coverage), and blended with my Blankcanvas F12 Angled Flat Eye brush

* I set this with my Laura Mercier translucent powder

* I set my foundation with my Fuschia loose mineral powder (shade cream)

* Contoured & Highlighted with my Sculpted palette (Make Up by Aimee)

* I finished my with Charlotte Tillbury lip liner & lippy (pillowtalk & penelope pink)

So there you have it! Some products I doubled up in both looks, and you can see that for day time I wanted it more natural, but for night, I wanted fuller coverage & more drama. Hope you enjoyed!
